Three buildings in the northeast area of the Manifattura complex will be used to house the University of Trento's CiMeC laboratories, which conducts Mind-Brain studies.

Following an aggreement signed between Progetto Manifattura, University of Trento, Trentino Sviluppo and the autonomous Province of Trento, two buildings of the historic area are being remodeled for the university. A third, new building will be built in the future and is under study by architects Carlo Ratti Associati.

These buildings will accomodate laboratories and offices of CiMeC which are currently spread between Rovereto and Trento. There will also be space for enlarging the program. When complete, more than 100 researchers and technical staff are expected to work there.
