Work begins on University of Trento's CiMeC buildings

Trentino Sviluppo, Progetto Manifattura and the Universiyt of Trento signed a contract for long-term lease of 15,000 square meters of office and laboratory space. The area is distined host the new seat of  CiMeC, the interdepartmenta Mind-Brain research center of  the University di Trento.

The project will restore 8,700 square meters of historic buildings and will see construction of 6,300 square meters of offices and laboratories. The University is responsible for realization of the buildings and grounds in accordance with the Progetto Manifattura Master Plan approved in  2010.

Work on remodelling the 19th century buildings is already underway.
